During this three year project, we focused on collecting vital information on over 70 species of plants and animals, included threatened wildlife such as Curlew, Great-crested newts and Water voles.
We’ll carefully analyse this information and what we discover will help conservation efforts in the Nidderdale AONB and beyond.

As part of The Wild Watch, we have produced the first State of Nature report for Nidderdale AONB.
The report provides an overview of the wildlife and habitats found within the AONB, summaries of the pressures on our natural environment and outlines of the actions that need to be taken to protect it.
