Ilkley

A Victorian spa town on the southern edge of Nidderdale National Landscape, Ilkley offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and attractions.

There’s lots to do in Ilkley from afternoon tea at the famous Betty’s Café & Tea Rooms to an evening at the theatre.

Go for a relaxing walk on Ilkley Moor where there are large rock formations, known locally as the ‘Cow and Calf Rocks’, with fantastic views of the town and beyond. Or, soak up the culture at the Manor House Art Gallery & Museum. Located in one of Ilkley’s oldest buildings, it offers a glimpse into the town’s past and development as a spa town.

Popular events in the town include the Ilkley Summer Festival in August and the Ilkley Literature Festival in October.
