Shows and festivals
Country shows are one of the highlights of the rural calendar.
During the summer months the area’s farmers, growers, producers, local people and visitors come together for displays, competitions and entertainment.
Each local show has its own distinct character, and most have livestock and produce judging, trade and craft stalls, games, entertainment and locally-made teas.
